Spring 2002: (April update)
Dear Brothers: Although the acting Secretary did finally get out that overdue newsletter, there was some important information that was accidentally left out. This e-mail will entail those issued that were accidentally ignored. Six weeks ago the Pi class embarked on their quest to become brothers of our beloved fraternity. Unfortunately, only one, Brian McKellney had the ability to complete the overwhelming task of pledging, and attending classes. Along with his Senior Steward, Dave Lipari, Brian completed three weeks of pledging by himself. Congratulations to Brian and Dave for a job well done. The Executive Board has also made some strides the past few weeks as they restored order, and organization to the chapter. Pete Tromonda's tireless effort to bring Theta Xi back to the pedestal it once sat on is unrelentless, and along with the rest of the E-Board, all are working very diligently to restore our supremacy at Monmouth. For those of you who don't know the newly elected Executive Board, it is as follows:

As far as news goes with Alumni, for those of you who do not know, many of our brothers have concluded their lives as single bachelors, and have decided to embark on the biggest quest of them all...MARRIAGE. I would like to congratulate the following brothers...Justin Peck, Mike Castelana, Brendan Spiegel, and John Meagher (it only took 9 years!!!) on their recent engagements. We wish you nothing but happiness. Two of our most notorious brothers have also been nominated to the Alumni Board of Directors, Jason Bentley, and Bill McGlaughlin. Most of you will be receiving a ballot to vote for the new board...please take 30 seconds to vote as we continue to show our colors. I would also like to congratulate Phil Flora on the birth of his first child. Finally, a hearty congratulations to Jon Pietnick on his triumphant victory on the popular show Fear Factor. Brothers, the annual Founder's Day Formal is going to be held on Friday, April 19th at the Sheraton on Rt 35 in Eatontown. To reserve your room, please call 732-542-6500. Also contact Andrew Amendola (the Formal Chairman) as soon as possible so that he may have a final head count. A Congratulations is also in order as two of our brothers are entering into Alumni status...congratulations to Brian Dierberger, Tom Lord, and Steven Belinsky on graduating. Along with the efforts of our newly elected Alumni Chair Kevin Young, I'm sure the alumni relations will be greatly improved. Good luck Kevin.
