After that, the students will listen to a childrens book entitled Life in Colonial America, in order to give them of a sense of what it was really like to live during that time.
Next, the students will dictate to the teacher their new Declaration. The teacher will record it on a large piece of special scroll paper.
After that, the students will begin with their presentations.
The first group will present the new class song and teach it to the class.
Then, the next group will tell the class what day they would celebrate on and why and they will name that day.
After that, the last group will present to the class the new monument that they designed.
In the end, the class will sign the new Declaration and sing the class song.
