Founded as a Methodist Camp Meeting place, Ocean Grove is a pleasant
old Victorian community located on the Jersey shore. The key attraction
is the Great Auditorium, which just celebrated its 100 year anniversary

Barneget Lighthouse, Ocean
In the middle of the 1800s Congress appropriated the construction of this
lighthouse to assist the mariners along the eastern coast. Designed
by Lt. George G. Meade who eventually went on to defeated General Robert
E. Lee at the Battle of Gettysburg. More information on the Barneget

Naval Aviation Station, Lakehurst, Ocean
The location of the famous Hindenburg disaster, this Ocean county landmark
still remains an active Naval research facility. The Navy Aviation
provides an interesting web site describing what they do and their history.
