George Washington in New Jersey
Washington was a great modivator. He is one of the reasons the Americans
won the battles. Men enlisted wanted out, yet Washingon's plea for the
militia to stay saved them. Washington believed Americans could win and
survive even when others did not. Washingon said to Lee at the Battle of
Princeton, "Sir, they are able, and by God they shall do it!"
